World Wetlands Day 2023

World Wetlands Day marks the date of the adoption of the Convention on Wetlands on 2 February 1971, in the Iranian city of Rasmar on the shores of the Caspian Sea. This day aims to raise global awareness about the vital role of wetlands for people and planet.
This year’s theme is “Wetlands Restoration” and it’s all on getting people to take action in protecting the wetlands.
